Waterline Replacement – Phase 2 Progress Update (September 2025)

The Rayford Road Municipal Utility District (MUD) is continuing to make significant progress on phase 2 of the waterline replacement project. As of today, September 2, 2025, construction continues on Medway Dr and Falher Dr.

Upcoming Construction Areas

Once the work on Medway and Falher is complete, the project will transition to the following areas:

  • Granum Drive
  • Mercoal Drive
  • Stoney Plains Dr

Specific Work Addresses

The waterline replacement will directly affect the following addresses within the work area:

  • 30103-30115 Granum Drive
  • 1602-1715 Mercoal Drive
  • 30114-30335 & 1818-1923 Stoney Plains Dr

Residents in these areas can expect temporary construction-related impacts, including noise, road closures, and potential interruptions to water service. The MUD will strive to minimize inconveniences and provide advance notice of any service disruptions.

Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate: September 8, 2025

The Rayford Road Municipal Utility District will hold a public hearing on the proposed 2025 tax rate on September 8, 2025, at 6:30 PM, at 25003 Pitkin Road, Suite D600, Spring, TX 77386. The proposed rate remains unchanged at $0.4140 per $100 of value, but average homestead taxes may increase by 7.88% due to higher property values.

Rayford Road MUD Water Line Rehabilitation: Phase Two Begins June 16

As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering excellent service to residents, Rayford Road MUD is rehabilitating water lines that have been in service for over 45 years. This important infrastructure work is being completed in phases. Phase one is nearing completion, and phase two is scheduled to begin on June 16, 2025.

The streets impacted by this work are:

  • Imperial Oaks Blvd
  • Medway Drive
  • Mercoal Drive
  • Pincher Creek Drive
  • Wickburn Drive
  • Rycroft Drive
  • Whitelaw Drive
  • Havenhouse Drive
  • Stoney Plain Drive
  • Bashaw Drive
  • Falher Drive
  • Lauri Lynn Drive
  • Nanton Drive
  • Little Croft Street
  • Calmar Drive
  • Granum Drive
